Eelction Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriyasays says that the appeals with respect to amendments of 2014 Voter’s Registry draft should be handed over to the Grama Niladari before 30 September.
The persons whose name has not been mentioned in the 2014 Voter’s Registry can apply for this.
Deshapriyasays said that 2014 Voter’s Registry is currently available at District Election Offices, District Secretariat Offices and Grama Niladari. “The voters can clarify whether their names available on the list with these three places,”
He added that a copy of the registry is also available on www.slelections.gov.lk website.
The Commissioner pointed out that the general public can submit appeals to these places, if found that their name has not been registered. The application for appeals can be obtained from the Grama Niladari before 30 September.
